Maccabi, Levi reunite with two-year deal
Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv and big man Nimrod Levi are together again after signing a two-year contract. Levi (2.08 meters, 23 meters) arrives from Maccabi Ashdod/Be'er Tuvia, where he played on loan last season and was named the Israeli League's most improved player last season. He averaged 10.5 points and 6.3 rebounds in 33 games for Ashdod. Levi joined Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv midway through the 2016-17 and appeared in five Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games in which he totaled 11 points on 3-of-4 three-point shooting plus 3 rebounds in 22 minutes. Levi grew up in the Maccabi youth system and has also played for Wingate Academy, Kohav Yair, Maccabi Beer Yakov, Ironi Ramat Gan, Hapoel Kazrin and Maccabi Rishon Lezion. He has also played for the Israeli national team.

"I am very happy to come back to Maccabi, a club that I played for as a teenager and also on the first team," Levi said after the agreement. "I am planning to seize this opportunity. I am in Tampa right now working out with a trainer and am planning to come ready for this season that I can’t wait for it to start. Yalla Maccabi!"
