All-EuroCup First Team center Devin Booker signed a new deal with FC Bayern Munich and will make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague this season with the club. Booker (2.05 meters, 27 years old) was a key player for Bayern last season as it reached the 7DAYS EuroCup Semifinals and the German League and Cup double. He averaged 13.6 points and 5.3 rebounds in 21 EuroCup appearances last season. This will be his third season in Munich. Booker began his professional career with SLUC Nancy and JL Bourg Basket in France. He was the French League MVP for the 2015-16 season when he played for Elan Chalon.
"We have great satisfaction that Devin remains another year, because we keep not only a great player, but a great person with us," Bayern sports director Daniele Baiesi said. "At the same time, this is his third year with us and that sends a strong signal for the stability and continuity of our association. Booker has grown a lot in the second year and become one of the best big men in Europe. We are very confident that together with Bayern he will bring his game to the next level."
