Pappas, Greens stay together

Panathinaikos Athens announced on Wednesday a contract extension with guard Nikos Pappas for the next two seasons. Pappas (1.95 meters, 28 years old) was one of the most visible pillars for the Greens last season. In 32 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague appearances, he averaged 8.2 points and 1.1 rebounds in over 17 minutes on court. Pappas has been playing for Panathinaikos the last five seasons, and has lifted three Greek League trophies with the team. He started his career in Panellinios, and since then he has also played with Real Madrid's second team, Kolossos, PAOK Thessaloniki and Panionios. He dressed in Green in 2013.
