Russian powerhouse CSKA Moscow announced on Wednesday the addition of national talent for the team with point guard Ivan Ukhov, who signed a three-year deal with the club. Ukhov (1.93 meters, 22 years old) arrives from Parma Basket Perm, where last season he averaged 9.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 0.9 steals in 24 VTB League games. He grew up as a player in the Perm team, where he has been since 2012. Ukhov was named 2016-17 VTB League Young Player of the Year. "We bring a young combo guard to our family." CSKA head coach Dimitris Itoudis said. "His progress during the last years is evident. We had a chance to talk face to face individually. I explained to him all possibilities and obligations that you get by joining CSKA. Ivan is thrilled with the chance he gets, he is ready to work hard, to sleep in the gym and he has big desire to help his new club."
