ABA League champion Buducnost VOLI Podgorica and Coach Aleksandar Dzikic agreed to terms on a new deal that will keep him as the head of bench for the next two seasons. Dzikic, 47, first joined the club last season and led Buducnost to the 7DAYS EuroCup Quarterfinals. He returns to the EuroLeague this seaosn for the first time since the 2012-13 season with Rytas Vilnius. Dzikic also coached two season in the EuroLeague with Union Olimpija Ljubljana from 2007 through 2009.

Dzikic started his career with Beovuk in his hometown of Belgrade, and was an assistant to Dusko Vujosevic at Partizan for six years before spending two seasons as an assistant coach with Minnesota in the NBA. After taking over at Olimpija in mid-season, he proceeded to lead the team to the 2008 Slovenian League title. His next stop was Krka Novo Mesto, where he spent two seasons and made history, guiding the club to back-to-back Slovenian League titles and the 2011 FIBA EuroChallenge crown. After a season with Lithuanian powerhouse Rytas, which he guided to the 2012 EuroCup Finals, Dzikic returned to Krka, where he won the 2014 Slovenian championship and also led the national team of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Dzikic spent a season and a half as Partizan's head coach before joining Buducnost last summer.

Buducnost also announced that Djordje Adzic has been hired as an assistant coach.
