Unicaja power forward Jorge Garbajosa is expected to be sidelined for at least 4 weeks due to a leg injury, the club announced Monday. Garbajosa got injured late in a Spanish League showdown against Eurocup powerhouse Valencia Basket and did not return to action. He has a calf muscle tear in his left leg, which will force him to be sidelined for 4 to 6 weeks. As such, Garbajosa will not be able to help Unicaja in his team's last Turkish Airlines Euroleague this season, at home against Gescrap BB. Garbajosa has averaged 6.2 points in 100% free throws (14-of-14) and 2.9 rebounds in 15 Euroleague games this season. Joel Freeland, who missed Unicaja's Euroleague road game against Real Madrid, returned to action against Valencia.
