Turkish Airlines Euroleague hopeful Bennet Cantu improved its frontcourt with the signing of center Marco Cusin to a two-year deal on Wednesday. Cusin (2.11 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Scavolini Siviglia Pesaro, where he averaged 7.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.3 blocks in 29 Italian League games last season in helping Scavolini make it to the Italian League semifinals. Cusin has also played for for Vanoli Cremona, Indesit Fabriano, Carife Ferrara, Angelico Biella and Pallacanestro Trieste in his native Italy. He helped Vanoli to win the Italian League second division title in 2009. Cusin has also been a member of the Italian national team and played at EuroBasket 2011. Cusin will try to take back Cantu to the Euroleague by surviving the Qualifying Rounds.
