Buducnost VOLI Podgorica said goodbye to its winless season in spectacular fashion on Thursday, by breaking the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague's all-time record for three-points made in a game.

Buducnost's shooters sizzled for the home crowd in Podgorica by drilling 21 shots from downtown to take a 99-84 victory over visiting KIROLBET Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz.

It was enough for not only Buducnost's first win in seven games this season, but also its first EuroLeague victory in almost 16 years, since December 4, 2002, when the club last played in the competition.

The previous mark for three-pointers was 19, shared by two teams. Montepaschi Siena established the record on November 9, 2012 and FC Barcelona Lassa matched it last season, on March 29. Both of those teams had done their damage on the road, but on Thursday, Buducnost's fans got to enjoy the fireworks. Their team's record marksmanship had plenty of contributors, but the big gun was Edwin Jackson, who fired in 6 of his 9 attempts from the three-point arc.

"The record is great, but we moved the ball, that's what is most important," Jackson said. "Sometimes shots are going to fall and sometimes they are not. But today they went in and we're very happy."

Five other players made at least 2 shots from downtown: Danilo Nikolic (4 for 5), Earl Clark (4 for 6), Suad Sehovic (3 for 5), Coty Clarke (2 for 2) and Nikola Ivanovic (2 for 7).
