For all of Fenerbahce Istanbul's outsized success under Zeljko Obradovic – the first-ever Turkish Airlines EuroLeague title won by a club from Turkey, three championship game appearances and four consecutive Final Fours – his is not a team that scores 100 points too often. Tuesday night's 100-79 victory over visiting Darussafaka Tekfen Istanbul was just the fifth time that Fenerbahce has reached the century mark in 161 EuroLeague games – 114 of them victories – since Obradovic took over the bench in 2013. By contrast, CSKA Moscow and Real Madrid have 16 games each of 100 points or higher in the same span.

But even if Fenerbahce doesn't score 100 as often as other teams, the occasions when it has done so are interesting. First, three of those five triple-digit nights have come on the road, as compared to six each – or 38% – for CSKA and Madrid. That said, two of those road shows came against other Istanbul teams, which means that its home city witnessed four of Fenerbahce's 100-point performances, with Tuesday's being the second of the five over Darussafaka. And if Fenerbahce can't match the highest-scoring teams in the regular season, it has put up points when it matters most. Its single 100-point performance in the playoffs is as many as CSKA can boast and one more than Madrid can in that phase. Indeed, Madrid was the victim of Fenerbahce's 100-78 decision in Game 2 of the playoffs back in 2016.

Until Tuesday, that 100-point playoff win over Madrid was the only time that Fenerbahce's home fans have ever seen them score 100 points in their own arena under Obradovic. With the team heading off for three consecutive road games until December 13, it gives them good memories until their heroes return home.
