Buducnost VOLI Podgorica bolstered its frontcourt by adding center Goga Bitadze, the club announced Thursday. Bitadze (2.12 meters, 19 years old) arrives from Mega Bemax, where he averaged 20.2 points on 64.5% two-point shots, 41.7% from downtown, 7.9 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in 11 Adriatic League games this season. Born in Georgia, he started his career with Vita Tbilisi and also played for Smederevo 1953 of Serbia before joining Mega. He helped Mega reach the ADIDAS NEXT GENERATION TOURNAMENT Championship Game in 2017, averaging 16.5 points, 12 rebounds and 2.8 blocks in the final tournament. Bitadze was chosen to the All-tournament team. He has also been a member of the Georgian national team. Bitadze is set to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games with Buducnost this season. Buducnost also announced that Zoran Nikolic was sent to Mega on loan until the end of the season.
