CSKA Moscow playmaker Mikhail Kulagin is set to be sidelined indefinitely due to foot surgery. Kulagin was injured in the second quarter of last week's Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game against FC Barcelona Lassa. Upon flying home to the Russian capital with the team, Kulagin underwent medical tests that confirmed that he has a broken bone in his left foot that requires surgery to repair. The surgery will take place this week in Moscow. His rehabilitation will be planned upon knowing the results of the surgery, so there is no timetable for his return. Kulagin, who won on the 2016 EuroLeague title with CSKA, is averaging 1.8 points in nine games this season.
