Olympiacos Piraeus has added playmaking depth to its roster by signing guard Briante Weber, the club announced on Wednesday. Weber (1.88 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Sioux Falls of the NBA G League, where he averaged 15.1 points, 6.2 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.9 steals per game this season. Since turning pro in 2015, Weber has spent most of the time with Sioux Falls. Over the last three seasons he played for Miami, Memphis, Golden State, Charlotte and Houston of the NBA, and had a stint with G-league side Rio Grande Valley, too. Weber is now set to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut, as Olympiacos goes into the final stretch of the season with 12-9 record in sixth place in the standings.
