Gran Canaria bolsters frontline with Wiley
Herbalife Gran Canaria fortified its frontline by signing forward Jacob Wiley for the remainder of the season. Wiley (2.03 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Adelaide of Australia's NBL, where he averaged 12.2 points and 4.9 rebounds over 28 games this season. This is Wiley's second professional season after he concluded his college career as the 2017 Big Sky Conference Player of the Year. He was the second straight future EuroLeague player to capture the award; CSKA Moscow's Joel Bolomboy did so in 2016. He has since suited up for Brooklyn in the NBA, Long Island in the G-League, MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg in Germany and Adelaide.
