Fedor Zugic becomes the youngest player in #EuroLeague history at 15 Years and 157 Days old!

History was made on Friday night when Fedor Zugic of Buducnost VOLI Podgorica entered his team's road game against Zalgiris Kaunas. Merely by walking on the court, Zugic became the youngest player to appear in a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game this century.

That historic moment happened with 42.1 seconds left in the fourth quarter and touched the ball once, passing to teammate Norris Cole. Having been born on September 18, 2003, it made Zugic 15 years and 157 days old on the night of his competition debut.

The Buducnost guard beat the previous youngest player, Srdjan Zivkovic of Partizan, by 45 days. Ugrinoski made his EuroLeague debut in October 2001. Others who debuted at 15 years old were Akesandar Ugrinoski with Cibona Zagreb, Can Maxim Mutaf with Fenerbahce Ulker in 2006 and Manuchar Markoishvili with Benetton Treviso in 2002.
