Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul locked up center Ahmet Duverioglu for the next three seasons, the club announced Tuesday. The signing comes one day after the Turkish champs announced that point guard Ali Muhammed signed a two-year extension. Duverioglu (2.09 meters, 26 years old) has spent the past three seasons with Fenerbahce during which he helped the club reach three Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Fours and win the title in 2017. This season he started 18 games for Fenerbahce and has averaged 3.1 points on 63.6% shooting and 2.2 rebounds in 11:00 minutes per game. Duverioglu began his career in Jordan and won the 2013 and 2014 Jordanian championship with ASU Amman. He then played for both Pertevniyal and Anadolu Efes Istanbul in Turkey before signing with Fenerbahce in 2016. He has won a pair of Turkish League crowns and one Turkish Cup since joining Fenerbahce. Duverioglu is ranked third on the EuroLeague's all-time charts in field goal shooting at 68.6%.
