Playoffs Game 3 MVP: Shane Larkin, Anadolu Efes Istanbul

On a near-perfect night for Anadolu Efes Istanbul, guard Shane Larkin was close to perfection himself as he became MVP for Game 3 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs. Larkin lifted Efes to a 68-102 road win over FC Barcelona Lassa and a 2-1 series lead by scoring 30 points. He made all 5 of his two-point attempts and shot 6 for 7 from downtown. Along with 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal, Larkin amassed a performance index rating of 34, the best among players on winning teams in Game 3 to earn his second MVP of the Round honor this season and of his career. KIROLBET Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz's Vincent Poirier tied Larkin with a PIR of 34. The center had 19 points plus 15 rebounds in his team's 77-84 loss against CSKA Moscow. Larkin's 30 points were not only the most in Game 3, but in the playoffs this season. Larkin moved atop the playoffs scoring rankings with 20.0 points per game. Poirier had 15 rebounds for the second playoff game in a row. He improved his playoffs-best average to 11.7 rebounds per game. Campazzo's 10 assists were the most by a player in these playoffs. Campazzo leads the playoffs by averaging 8.3 assists and 3.0 steals per game. Luigi Datome of Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul had 4 steals, a new career-high and the most of all players in Game 3. Four players had 2 blocks in Game 3: Dunston, Madrid's Walter Tavares, Baskonia's Johannes Voigtmann and Ian Vougioukas of Panathinaikos. Dunston remains the playoffs shot-blocking leader with 2.0 per game. There were three double-doubles in Game 3: Poirier with 19 points and 15 rebounds, Dunston with 10 points plus 10 rebounds and Campazzo with 16 points and 10 assists.
