Playoffs Game 4 disciplinary sanctions

Euroleague Basketball has announced disciplinary sanctions pertaining to incidents that occurred in Game 4 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs. The sanctions are based on infractions of the competition by-laws that all teams are aware of and obliged to fulfill.

  • Mr Ergin Ataman, head coach of Anadolu Efes has been sanctioned with a fine of 7,000€ for acts that represent a lack of respect towards the officiating crew on occasion of its team’s away game against FC Barcelona under Article 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
  • Mr Svetislav Pesic, head coach of FC Barcelona has been sanctioned with a warning for acts that represent a lack of respect towards the officiating crew on occasion of its team’s home game against Anadolu Efes Istanbul under Article 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
