Olympiacos Piraeus added fire power to its roster by inking scoring guard Kevin Punter to a two-year deal, the club announced Friday. Punter (1.91 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Segafredo Virtus Bologna, where he averaged 14.2 points on 89.4% free throws in 29 Italian League games last season. He did even better in the Basketball Champions League, averaging 16.0 points on 41.8% three-point shooting in 20 games, leading Virtus to the title and earning final four MVP honors. It was Punter's second consecutive Champions League title - he lifted the trophy with AEK Athens in 2018. Punter started his career with Lavrio of Greece and also played for Port of Antwerp Giants of Belgium and Rosa Radom of Poland before joining AEK in February 2018, lifting the Greek Cup trophy right away. Punter is now set to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut with Olympiacos next season.
