Olympiacos Piraeus continued adding perimeter players with the announcement on Saturday that experienced guard Brandon Paul has signed on for two seasons. Paul (1.93 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Zhejiang of the Chinese League, averaging 28.4 points, 9.1 rebounds and 4.9 assists. He started his pro career in 2013 playing in the 7DAYS EuroCup for Nizhny Novgorod of Russia, putting up 6.4 points and 2.7 rebounds in under 15 minutes per game, although in games in which he played more than 15 minutes, those numbers shot up to 13.5 points and 5.0 rebounds. After two seasons in the G-League with Canton, he returned to Europe with Joventut Badalona of Spain, leading the team with 13.0 points per game in the 2015-16 season. He made his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut after signing in the middle of the next season for Anadolu Efes Istanbul, appearing in 23 games and averaging 8.6 points in 17 minutes. He made his NBA debut in the 2017-18 season with San Antonio, playing in 64 games and scoring 2.4 points on average before going to China last season.
