Khimki Moscow Region reached a new agreement with combo guard Egor Vialtsev to keep working together next season, the club announced Wednesday. Vialtsev (1.93 meters, 33 years old) averaged 3.0 points in 19 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season. He is set to enter his ninth consecutive season with Khimki, to which he helped win two 7DAYS EuroCup titles in 2012 and 2015. Vialtsev started his career with Lagoda St Petersburg and also played for CSKA Moscow, CSK VVS-Samara, Ural Great Perm and Triumph Lyubertsy before joining Khimki in 2011. He helped CSKA win back-to-back Russian League titles and reach consecutive EuroLeague Final Fours in 2003 and 2004. Vialtsev lifted the FIBA Eurocup Challenge trophy in 2006 and has been a member of the Russian national team. He has accumulated 337 points in 91 EuroLeague games, hitting 41.2% of his three-point shots (63-of-153).
