Valencia Basket bolstered its frontcourt by inking power forward Maurice Ndour to a one-year deal, the club announced on Tuesday. Ndour (2.06 meters, 27 years old) arrives from UNICS Kazan, where he averaged 9.6 points on 84.3% free throw shooting, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 18 7DAYS EuroCup games last season. In his two years in Kazan, Ndour helped UNICS reach the EuroCup Playoffs twice, including a semifinal run last season. In that series, UNICS lost to Valencia as Ndour averaged 9.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks over two games. He has also played for Real Madrid in Spain, New York in the NBA and Westchester in the D-League. Ndour won the Spanish League title with Madrid in 2016.
