Zvezda completes roster with playmaker Brown

Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade added a final piece to its roster during the busy summer, signing point guard Lorenzo Brown on a one-year contract, the club announced on Saturday. Brown (1.96 meters, 29 years old) is yet to make his European debut having spent parts of the last five years in the NBA. He split last season between the NBA champions Toronto and the Chinese and Guangzhou Long-Lions in China. In 25 limited appearances during the NBA regular season with Toronto, Brown averaged 2.2 points and 1.1 assists, while in eight games with Guangzhou he posted 25.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 2.8 steals. During his career, he also previously played with Zhejiang in Chine, with Philadelphia, Minnesota and Phoenix in the NBA, and in the G-League with Delaware, Springfield, Grand Rapids and Mississauga. He is now set to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut.
