Khimki Moscow Region on Sunday became the first of a record-tying three Russian teams that will play in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague this season to hold its Media Day. Plenty of new faces filled the floor at Basketball Center Moscow Region, including Jonas Jerebko, Stefan Jovic, Devin Booker, Dairis Bertans, Jeremy Evans, Sergey Karasev and Chris Kramer, not to mention a former Khimki player now back in the fold, Timofey Mozgov. The newcomers joined holdovers like Alexey Shved, Anthony Gill, Sergei Monia and Egor Vialtsev to make for a busy morning of photo shoots, promotional filming and interviews.
All 18 EuroLeague teams will have their respective media days as well before the balls start bouncing for real on Thursday, October 3. On that opening night of EuroLeague action, Khimki will host a yellow-and-blue battle with visiting Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv.
