Munich, Germany was the latest stop on Wednesday in a marathon of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Media Days all across the continent. Their home court, the Audi Dome, was the perfect setting for FC Bayern Munich players and coaches to meet local and international journalists for a good number of interviews, photo shoots and videotaping. Some players were new to the competition, like Greg Monroe, Josh Huestis, Diego Flaccadori and T.J.Bray, who is currently injured. Some other newcomers already had previous EuroLeague experience and therefore had been to Media Days before, like DeMarcus Nelson, Mathias Lessort and Paul Zipser. Bayern is set to play consecutive EuroLeague seasons for just the second time in club history, and the season starts with a big home showdown against AX Armani Exchange Milan on Thursday, October 3. Bayern played four home games in October so expect fans to fill out Audi Dome right away to see the best basketball in Europe!
A warm welcome
All 18 EuroLeague teams are holding their respective Media Days in the run-up to a historic season that will have more games than ever as 18 teams from nine countries vie over eight months to give fans the best basketball experience possible on the way to the crowning of a continental champion at the Final Four in Cologne, Germany next May!
