The rollercoaster of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Media Days had its next stop on Wednesday in Tel Aviv, the largest metropolitan area of Israel, located on the country's Mediterranean coastline. EuroLeague powerhouse Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv, one of the most decorated teams in European basketball, with millions of fans around the world, drew a lot of media attention, just as expected. Yellow-and-blue fever is forever in Tel Aviv, and Maccabi players met the press for interviews, photos and video of all sorts. Four of Maccabi's newcomers – Quincy Acy, Elijah Bryant, Tyler Dorsey and Sandy Cohen III -had their first EuroLeague Media Day experience. Omri Casspi, back in the team for the first time since 2009, was one of the most sought-after players, along with experienced newcomers like Othello Hunter and Nate Wolters. Maccabi, a six-time continental champion, opens the regular season with a road game against Khimki Moscow Region and plays in front of its trademark legion of fans in Round 3, when Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade visits Tel Aviv.
