Smith started the decade as the first player to earn All-EuroCup honors with different teams, Panellinios in 2010 and Benetton Treviso in 2011. After that, however, he joined Maccabi Tel Aviv and immediately became one of its leaders for the next six seasons, from 2011 to 2017, and was essential to the team returning to the top of the mountain in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

Undeniably, Smith's finest moment in the EuroLeague came in the 2013-14 season, when he helped Maccabi win its one EuroLeague title of this decade, which was memorable in many ways. His great performances in key games were critical, especially in the championship game against Real Madrid, when he had 15 points and 7 rebounds. Smith set this century's championship game record by playing 40 minutes and 40 seconds that night in his team's dramatic overtime win.
