Olympiacos Piraeus made another addition to its roster by inking playmaker Taylor Rochestie, the club announced on Saturday. Rochestie (1.85 meters, 34 years old) last played with Anhui Wenyi of China, where he averaged 26.4 points on 50.5% three-point shooting, 5.4 rebounds and 8.3 assists in 14 games last season. He started with 2018-19 season with another Chinese team, Tianjin Gold Lions, averaging 33.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 9.1 assists in 45 games before joining Anhui. Rochestie has 75 appearances over five EuroLeague seasons, and was the Alphonso Ford Top Scorer Trophy winner for the 2014-15 season, averaging 18.9 points over 21 games playing for Nizhny Novgorod. Rochestie played in the EuroLeague with five different clubs – Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, Montepaschi Siena, Nizhny, Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv and Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade – and has career averages of 13.5 points on 43.6% three-point shooting, and 4.6 assists. Rochestie started his career with Goettingen of Germany and also played for Galatasaray Istanbul of Turkey, ALBA Berlin of Germany, Le Mans Sarthe Basket of France, Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz of Spain, Angelico Biella and Montepaschi Siena of Italy, Nizhny and Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar of Russia, Maccabi of Israel and Crvena Zvezda in Serbia. Rochestie's stint with Zvezda in the 2017-18 season was the last time he played in the EuroLeague. During his career Rochestie was also a member of the Montenegrin national team.
