During his five seasons in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, it was abundantly clear that Bogdan Bogdanovic was born to be on a basketball court. His combination of shooting purity and competitive fire was not only rare and entertaining, but also earned his place in EuroLeague history. At age 20 in 2012, Bogdanovic made his EuroLeague debut with Partizan NIS Belgrade. A year later, he averaged 14.8 points and was chosen by EuroLeague head coaches as the 2013-14 Rising Star Trophy winner.

Fenerbahce Istanbul coach Zeljko Obradovic did not waste time in bringing Bogdanovic to his team. In his first season in Istanbul, Bogdanovic repeated as Rising Star, becoming the only player to win the award with two teams. Even better, he helped lead Fenerbahce to the 2015 Final Four, the club's first such appearance of what would become five in a row. A year later, Bogdanovic and Fenerbahce went a step further, reaching the EuroLeague Championship Game but losing in overtime against CSKA Moscow.

  • EuroLeague Champion 2017
  • All-EuroLeague First Team 2016-17
  • Rising Star 2013-14, 2014-15

The third time was the charm for Fenerbahce and Bogdanovic, who led all playoff scorers that season with 19.3 points per game and made the 2016-17 All-EuroLeague First Team. He was essential to Fenerbahce winning its first EuroLeague title, too, scoring a team-high 17 points in a title-game blowout of Olympiacos Piraeus in Istanbul. In that moment, the charismatic and unstoppable Bogdanovic instantly became a Fenerbahce legend.
