Crvena Zvezda adds Jagodic Kuridza to frontline

Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade fortified its frontline with the signing of big man Marko Jagodic Kuridza through the end of the 2020-21 season. Marko Jagodic Kuridza (2.05 meters, 32 years old) arrives from Slovenian side Koper Primorska, where he spent the past season and a half. He averaged 13.6 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 11 Adriatic League games for Primorska this season. Jagodic Kuridza has also played for Spartak and Novi Sad in Serbia, Capljina and Borac Banja Luka in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cibona Zagreb in Croatia, CEZ Nymburk in the Czech Republic and Oostende in Belgium. He has previously played a pair of 7DAYS EuroCup seasons with Cibona, team he also helped win the 2014 Adriatic League title, and has also captured national championships with Cibona, Nymburk, Oostende and Primorska. Jagodic Kuridza is now set to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut.

"It is a great honor for me. When the invitation from Crvena Zvezda arrived, there was no thought," Jagodic Kuridza said. "It’s a great club and a great challenge. I don't have a lot of time to fit in and play, so I have to use every training session to get into the team as soon as possible. It is my duty to work hard, train and to justify the confidence Zvezda has in me."
