Larkin expected to miss 2 weeks with ankle injury
League-leading Anadolu Efes Istanbul could face its next few games without star guard Shane Larkin, who injured his ankle last week in the Turkish Cup. Larkin's ankle swelled up after his team's loss to Darussafaka Tekfen Istanbul in the Turkish Cup and the team’s medical staff recommends that he rest for two weeks before returning to action. As a result, he is expected to miss his team's next two games, both on the road in Germany, at FC Bayern Munich (February 21) and ALBA Berlin (February 27). Larkin, 27, leads the league in scoring (22.0 ppg.) and performance index rating this season (25.7), his second with Efes.
