Panathinaikos OPAP Athens signed scoring ace Marcus Foster for the coming season plus an option for the 2021-22 campaign, the club announced Tuesday. Foster (1.91 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Hapoel UNET Holon, with which he ranked second in the Israeli League when the season was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic with 20.2 points per game. He made 42.3% of his three-pointers and was second on the team with 3.4 assists per game, too. Foster began his professional career in 2018 with Wonju DB Promy in South Korea and also played briefly for Champville in Lebanon before joining Holon. A two-time All-Big 12 First Team selection while playing for Creighton University, Foster is due to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague this season with the Greens.
