Panathinaikos welcomes back Bochoridis

Panathinaikos OPAP Athens welcomed back a familiar face as it signed Lefteris Bochoridis for the up-coming season, the club announced Thursday. Bochoridis (1.96 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Aris Thessaloniki, with which the combo guard averaged 14.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.6 steals in 14 Greek League games last season. Bochoridis grew up in the Aris system and played there until 2014 when he joined Panathinaikos. Over three seasons from 2014 to 2017, Bochoridis averaged 1.8 points and 0.7 rebounds in 24 games in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with Panathinaikos, also winning the 2017 Greek League and 2015 and 2017 Greek Cup crowns. Bochoridis is also a member of the Greek national team.
