Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul has re-united with Kenan Sipahi, signing the point guard for this coming season, the club announced Wednesday. Sipahi (1.97 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Coosur Real Betis after averaging 7.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steals in 23 games in the Spanish League. The playmaker started his professional career with Tofas Bursa before moving to Fenerbahce in 2013 - at age 18. He played two seasons with Fenerbahce, appearing in 37 games in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and averaging 2.1 points, 0.9 rebounds and 0.8 assists. He also won the 2014 Turkish League crown. Sipahi joined Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir for the 2015-16 campaign and averaged 5.3 points, 1.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 10 EuroLeague games and 6.4 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists in seven games in the EuroCup. He then moved to Besiktas and stayed with the Turkish club for three seasons before heading to Spain for his first experience with a non-Turkish club.
