Fans Choice All-Decade Team: Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv

Turkish Airlines EuroLeague fans have had their say by choosing the players they consider to be the best from the competition's top teams over the last decade.

After three weeks of voting for stars from each of 15 clubs who played the most seasons in the EuroLeague from 2010 to 2020, the results are in for the Fans Choice All-Decade Team by Team survey.

Topping the list for Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv is Sofoklis Schortsanitis, who was selected on 83.98% of the votes for his two two-year stints with the team. Schortsanitis was one of the most dominant players in the league at the start of the decade and was named to the 2010-11 All-EuroLeague First Team. And he will live in Maccabi fans’ hearts forever for helping the club win the 2014 EuroLeague title.

Following Schortsanitis among the top five vote-getters for Maccabi were Tyrese Rice, who was named on 81.40% of the ballots; Alex Tyus (78.29%), David Blu (76.74%) and Devin Smith (75.71%).

In the sixth through tenth positions, fans chose Scottie Wilbekin (74.68%), Ricky Hickman (60.47%), Jeremy Pargo (56.33%), Guy Pnini (39.02%), and Joe Ingles (36.43%).
