FC Bayern Munich brought back guard Robin Amaize and also signed a contract extension with him until 2022, the club announced Tuesday. Amaize (1.88 meters, 26 years old) returns back to Bayern after playing last season with EWE Baskets Oldenburg, where he averaged 7.7 points on 44.4% three-point shooting and 1.4 rebounds in 12 7DAYS EuroCup games. He also collected 5.9 points and 2.1 rebounds in 23 German League games on loan with Oldenburg from Bayern. Amaize started his basketball career with Giessen 46ers and also played at Basketball Loewen Braunschweig and medi Bayreuth before joining Bayern in 2018 on a three-year contract. He won the 2019 German League crown with Bayern and then left for Oldenburg. Upon his return to Munich, Bayern and Amaize agreed to add another season to his contract. He totaled 12 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists in 62 minutes of 15 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games in 2018-19.
