A monster slam by Will Clyburn of CSKA Moscow over the EuroLeague Best Defender in the semifinals of the 2019 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four has been voted the Round 6 winner in the Fans Choice Play of the Decade.

Clyburn, who had been a standout player for CSKA all year in his second campaign with the club, took his game to an even higher level at the Final Four in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain. CSKA trailed 43-45 at halftime the semifinal against Real Madrid and missed its first 2 shots of the third quarter while Real extended its lead with a three. Needing to change the momentum, Clyburn stepped up with the assistance of Cory Higgins. The latter got the ball on the wins and Clyburns's defender, Rudy Fernandez, immediately rotated to put pressure on Higgins. Clyburn reacted by cutting to the basket and received a perfect bounce pass from Higgins before taking one step and rising to challenge that season's EuroLeague Best Defender, Walter Tavares, and throwing down a monster dunk with 8:39 on the clock and drawing a foul. He made the resulting free throw and finished the game with 18 points as CSKA prevailed 95-90.

His is the fifth play to advance to the finals in mid-September. Five more finalists are yet to be decided, so vote now to make sure your favorites get their due in the Fans Choice Play of the Decade survey!
