With a huge game just when his new team needed it most, Nemanja Nedovic of Panathinaikos OPAP Athens has earned the MVP of the Week award, the first of his seven-season Turkish Airlines EuroLeague career. Nedovic scored 28 points, second-best in his seven EuroLeague seasons, to lead Panathinaikos past Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul 82-68 on Thursday. His performance off the bench came with career highs of 7 three-pointers made, tying the second-most ever by a Panathinaikos player, and 2 blocks, as well. The week's top performance came from Daniel Hackett of CSKA Moscow in an 86-84 overtime loss to Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade. Hackett's 29 points and 39 PIR, the EuroLeague's highest so far this season, were career highs in his 197th EuroLeague game. Matching Nedovic with a 28 PIR, but in a losing cause, was Alexey Shved of Khimki Moscow Region, whose monster 32-point, 11-assist double-double went for naught as visiting Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv won their game in overtime, 87-89. Zvezda guard Jordan Loyd finished with a 25 PIR after posting 31 points, his career high and the most in any EuroLeague game yet this season, including the game-winner over CSKA in overtime. Fifth among the week's performers was Angelo Caloiaro of Maccabi, who had a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds to go with 3 steals in his team's overtime victory against Khimki.

Individual highs: Devin Booker, Khimki, 12 rebounds

Shved's 32 points led all scorers this week in his first appearance of the season. Loyd tops the scoring charts with his average of 23.8 points per game. Devin Booker of Khimki pulled 12 rebounds to lead in that category this week. His 8.4 average is second to teammate Jonas Jerebko's 8.6 on the list of top rebounders. Shved was also this week's top assist-maker with 11. Vladimir Micic of Anadolu Efes Istanbul enjoys the best assists average with 6.5 per game. Scottie Wilbekin of Maccabi came up with 4 steals, the most this week. Wade Baldwin of FC Bayern Munich is the steals leader with 2.6 on average. Othello Hunter of Maccabi and Brandon Davies of FC Barcelona each rejected 4 shots this week. The regular season blocked-shots leader is Bryant Dunston of Efes with 1.8 per game. Shved (32 points, 11 assists), Booker (14 points, 12 rebounds), and Caloiaro (15 points, 10 rebounds) were the three players to record double-doubles this week.
