Valencia loses Labeyrie to ankle injury

Valencia Basket announced on Wednesday that power forward Louis Labeyrie will miss the next two to three weeks with an ankle injury. Labeyrie was hurd in a practice on Tuesday and tests confirmed a grade two sprain to his right ankle. Labeyrie has been a parttime started for Valencia, averaging 7.4 points and 3.9 rebounds playing in nine of the team's 10 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games so far. He has made 20 of 26 two-point shots this season 76.9% accuracy rate, which ranks fourth in the EuroLeague. He is in his third season with Valencia, having become a 7DAYS EuroCup champion with the team in 2019. Prior to that he played professionally in his native France with Hyeres-Toulon, Paris-Levallois and Strasbourg.
