Turkish Airlines EuroLeague fans, we have our first winner of the season in the brand new EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge!

Iztok Izlakar beat everyone else in Round 1 with his team Avtsajderji. He had a Fantasy Challenge score of 216.3.

Iztok had the following lineup: Filip Petrusev of Anadolu Efes Istanbul, Nikola Mirotic of FC Barcelona, Nicolo Melli of AX Armani Exchange Milan, Scottie Wilbekin of Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv and team captain Shane Larkin of Efes as starters, Rokas Jokubaitis of Barcelona as sixth man, Dmitrii Uzinskii of UNICS Kazan, Anton Pushkov of Zenit St Petersburg, Mantas Rubstavicius of Zalgiris Kaunas and Christoph Tilly of ALBA Berlin as bench players, as well as Ettore Messina of Milan as head coach. As his prize for finishing first in Round 1, Iztok wins a free subscription to Euroleague TV for the 2022-23 season!

Obviously, Iztok Izlakar also leads the EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge overall standings.

Trades are now open for Round 2. Remember, three trades are allowed before each round until the end of the regular season, and you can also trade your head coach.

The first game in Round 2, Zalgiris Kaunas vs. Zenit St Petersburg, is scheduled to tip off on Thursday, October 7 at 19:00 CET, and thus marks next round's deadline.
