Two days after learning that Alec Peters would undergo knee surgery, Bitci Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz found another Peters for the roster by signing Lamar Peters for the remainder of the season. Peters (1.83 meters, 23 years old) is an up-and-coming point guard with two seasons of professional experience behind him. He averaged 9.9 points and 6.4 assists last season for Frutti Extra Bursaspor in the Turkish League. The season before, Peters produced 17.8 points and 7.3 assists for Westchester in the G-League. He played college basketball at Mississippi State University.
