Here comes Round 13 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season. All the teams had rare weekends off and should be fresh for the coming games. A new month starts, too, and that means the fight to make it to the playoffs may be bigger, more interesting and even more exciting than it has been until now.
As always, it is important to find the right players in the EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge. Players who will play well, give you a good score and help you to increase your credits. Keep in mind that choosing the right head coach is more important than having star backup players, too. Being able to guess which team should have a big victory and choosing its coach is a guaranteed success, and it is worth it to have a cheaper backup player if you feel that your head coach should be a big winner in that round.
This time, we are recommending a superstar against his favorite opponent and four other players who have been doing great in the last few weeks. All of them should have solid performances in Round 13.
Without further ado, here are some players to think about choosing in EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge this week:
Shane Larkin, Anadolu Efes Istanbul (15.1 credits) - It is no secret that Larkin has had some of the best games of his EuroLeague career against FC Barcelona, his Round 13 opponent. Moreover, Larkin arrives at this game in excellent shape. He comes off a season-high 25 points plus 7 assists for a PIR of 29 against Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul.
John Brown III, UNICS Kazan (10.7 credits) - UNICS Kazan is on the rise and so is John Brown, who leads the league in steals with 2.7 per game. Brown has found his role in the team, too, and been really effective in the last three games, in which he's averaged 15.3 points on 19-of-27 two-point shooting (70.4%), 4.7 rebounds and a PIR of 21.3. Outstanding numbers.
Nemanja Nedovic, Panathinaikos OPAP Athens (9.9 credits) - Nedovic is back from injury and it is no surprise that Panathinaikos is winning again. In the Greens' home victory against Zenit St Petersburg, Nedovic played a big role with 18 points, 5 assists and 6 fouls drawn for a PIR of 21. Expect Nedovic to keep posting big numbers.
Sasha Vezenkov, Olympiacos Piraeus (11.6 credits) - Right now, Vezenkov is a star forward at a relatively cheap price. After a quiet period, Vezenkov is doing great again and, as always, helping Olympiacos in many ways. He has averaged 14.7 points on great shooting (70.4% 2FG, 54.5% 3FG, 100% FT), 5.7 rebounds and a PIR of 19.7 over his last three games.
Jordan Loyd, Zenit St Petersburg (12.1 credits) - Facing your former team is a special feeling and Loyd should be ready to feel that when Zenit hosts Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade. Last season, Loyd had 20 points against his former team, Valencia Basket, while playing for Zvezda. The Serbian powerhouse is at the other end of this situation and Loyd should be ready and motivated.
