Real Madrid and forward Gabriel Deck are together again after the sides announced they signed a multi-year contract on Wednesday. Deck (1.98 meters, 26 years old) returns to Madrid where he played the last three years before leaving in April of last season to join Oklahoma City of the NBA. Deck averaged 8.8 points on 40.7% three-point shooting, 3.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 32 EuroLeague games with Real last season. He helped Real win the 2019 Spanish League and the 2020 Spanish Cup titles.
Deck finished the 2020-21 season with Oklahoma City and averaged 8.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 10 games. He appeared in seven games this season before parting ways with the club earlier this month. Deck started his professional career with Quimsa Santiago del Estero in his native Argentina and also played there for San Lorenzo de Almagro before joining Los Blancos in 2018. He has been a member of the Argentine national team with which he won a silver medal at the 2019 Basketball World Cup.
