FoxTown Cantu rallied from a double-digit deficit to pull out 88-86 win over Artland Dragons Quakenbrueck in Group A on Wednesday. The visitors led throughout the first half, and still held 10-point advantage in the third quarter, but Pietro Aradori led Cantu's comeback in the third, and Adrian Uter in the fourth quarter to give the hosts 77-64 lead they managed to hold on to until the final buzzer. Aradori finished with 28 points and Uter scored 25 in victory. Anthony King led Artland with 19 points, Lawrence Hill had 17, and Keneth Frease 10 in defeat.

Artland got the better start in the game, led by King opened up 8-16 lead after 10 minutes, and margin reached double-digits at the start of the second. Cantu replied with a 14-2 spurt that put them up 22-20, but the visitors made another run, with King and Hill helped them regain 26-36 advantage, and go into halftime up 32-39. After the break, the hosts started to cut the deficit after a midway-point of the third quarter, and Aradori hit a triple and a jumper to put Cantu in front 61-59 after three quarters. The hosts took control of the things at the start of the fourth quarter, putting together an 11-0 run with Adrian Uter leading the way, and building 77-64 advantage. Still, the game was not decided until the final minute, as the visitors got within 85-83 before Aradori sealed the deal from the free throw line with 14 seconds to go.
