Barcelona had already secured first place in the group before the game and Seville, which dropped to 0-3, had already been eliminated from contention for the semifinals. Barcelona will face off against the second-placed team in Group A in Wednesday’s semis. Aleix Font led the way for Barcelona with 17 points and 8 rebounds while Sergi Martinez scored 15 points. Nikola Zizic collected 11 points and 12 rebounds and Eric Vila added 11 points in the win. Pedro Martin tallied 11 points for Seville, while Juan Manuel added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the defeat.

Font opened the game for Barcelona and Vila made it 4-0. Giorgi Tvalabeishvili followed with Seville’s first points, but Font scored 5 more points for Barcelona. An Eduardo Lada triple had Seville within 11-7, but Barcelona slowly began to pull away. Font knocked down two three-pointers as the lead grew to 22-11. And it was 26-13 after 10 minutes. Tvalabeishvili’s third basket cut it to 29-15, but Seville could not slow Barcelona. Martinez and Andrija Marjanovic both scored 5 points as Barcelona reeled off a 16-0 run for a 45-15 lead. Leo Cizmic and Daniel Vicente both got baskets to fall for Seville, but they didn’t make a dent in the Barcelona advantage, which was 51-19 at the intermission.

Martin opened the second half for Seville, but Barcelona picked up right where it left off with an 11-2 run for a 62-23 lead. Seville began to play a bit better against Barcelona’s bench and scored 5 straight points and closed the third quarter with the final 4 points to make it 66-32 after 30 minutes.
