Bjelica beat the shot clock buzzer with a six-meter jumper right after the break. Justin Hamilton scored in penetration, igniting a 7-0 run that Matt Walsh capped with a triple to make the guests call a much-needed timeout. Petravicius made free throws that Massot matched with a put-back basket for a 40-43 score. A layup by Matela and a put-back dunk by Massot tied it at 44-44. Bjelica slammed it in the other end and Zavackas sank a jumper but Walsh and Johnson tied the game again, 48-48. Mindaugas Lukauskis and Walsh traded bombs from downtown while a three-point play by Matela completed the hosts' comeback, 54-53. Head Coaches

ANZULOVIC, DRAZEN
Spirou Basket
"It's a big win for us because I respect the Lithuanian basketball school. It was a real challenge and my players showed the right mentality tonight, especially in the second half when we controlled the rebounds and the rhythm of the game. We've played hard on defense, I’m really proud. Everybody is important in my team, like Sacha Massot who did a very good job. I want to see that level in the Belgian League too."
KURTINAITIS, RIMAS
Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius
"Congratulations to coach Anzulovic of Charleroi. It's not easy for us to play well tonight after the cup this weekend, many games to play in a short time. But it's not an excuse and we must be able to play several games in a row. I'm not surprised by the reaction of Spirou in the third quarter because we had a complete scouting of this team which played a perfect game in this tough game. We fought but it wasn’t enough to win."

"That was a very good team in front of us and it was time to wake up after the break. Then we played our best basketball, with good referees. I think Artland will not be any easier to play against next week. Its now the Last 16 and every game will be hard."
