There will a repeat of the Euroleague Basketball ADIDAS NEXT GENERATION TOURNAMENT Ciutat de L’Hospitalet from last season as U18 FC Barcelona Lassa knocked off U18 Unicaja Malaga 87-82 to set up another date with U18 Divina Seguros Joventut Badalona. Luka Samanic collected 23 points, 18 rebounds, three assists, four blocks and 11 fouls drawn for a PIR of 38. Nikola Zizic added 13 points and 12 rebounds and Pavle Titic chipped in 15 points in the victory, which moved Barcelona to 3-0 in Group A and booked its ticket to its fourth straight ANGT L’Hospitalet final. Unicaja dropped to 1-2 in the group despite Morgan Stilma picking up 23 points and eight rebounds while Jesus Carralero added 10 points, seven rebounds, three steals and three blocks.

Stilma picked up six points early for Unicaja in building a 6-11 lead. Barcelona answered with the next six points to pull ahead 12-11 and the game was even 15-15 after 10 minutes. Unicaja was down just 24-23 when Barcelona pulled away for the first time with a 10-0 run as David Font and Samanic both hit from long range for a 34-23 lead. Unicaja was able to cut the gap to seven points but Barcelona was ahead 43-33 at intermission. Barcelona did not let up in the second half and pushed the advantage out to 17 points at 56-39 midway through the quarter. The gap was still 63-50 but Unicaja closed it to 64-58 after 30 minutes. Pablo Fernandez made it 64-60 to start the fourth but Samanic pushed the gap back to double digits at 73-62. Unicaja continually got the deficit down to either seven or eight points in the rest of the fourth quarter but Barcelona each time had an immediate answer.
