Panionios Athens downed Bisons Loimaa 74-62 to grab a share of second place in Group H with Radnicki Kragujevac at 3-2. Kevin Langford paced the winners by netting 19 points, Landon Milbourbne collected 14 with 7 rebounds, Erick McCollum scored 14 with 4 rebounds and 2 steals and Marc Carter scored 12. Bisons Loimaa got 13 points and 7 boards from John Williamson in his Eurocup debut, Tuukka Kotti also scored 13, Frank Robinson chipped in 11 and Mikko Koivisto 10.

The teams exchanged leads for the first eight minutes, Alexandros Kyritsis tied at 15-15 from the foul line, then 5 unanswered points by the visitors from Antto Nikkarinen in the paint and Koivisto from downtown fixed a 15-20 margin for Loimaa at the end of the first quarter. Milbourne tied the game at 22-22 early in the second quarter, and 4 free throws in a row nailed by Langford gave a 29-26 advantage to Panionios. In the last minute of the half, Matti Nuutinen and McCollum exchanged layups for a 38-32 advantage for Panionios at halftime. After the intermission, Panionios was on fire and four different players fueled a 9-0 run to reach a 47-32 advantage on a Gaios Skordilis put back. Newcomer Williamson and Nikkarinen tried to keep Bisons close late in the quarter, which finished at 56-45. Kotti’s dunk and a layup reduced the difference to 58-51, but Carter re-established a double-digit margin from downtown. Koivisto scored again a three, 66-59, but McCollum from the foul line and a Langford triple sealed the home team win.
