Tarik Biberovic scored 25 points for Spars, which grabbed the second place in Group B with a 1-2 record thanks to a point differential. U18 Get Better Academy Prague and Maccabi also had 1-2 records but finished third and fourth respectively in the group. Srdan Kocic collected 15 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 blocks as Spars will square off against U18 Porsche Basketball Academy Ludwigsburg in the game for third place on Sunday. Tomer Porat picked up 21 points and 11 rebounds for Maccabi, which will face U18 Partizan NIS Belgrade for seventh place on Sunday.

Amar Tiganj started the game with a three-pointer and added two free throws in helping Spars jump out to a 12-2 lead. Maccabi answered with Omri Sinover providing a spark off the bench with five points in a 2-11 run to make it 16-15. Biberovic stopped the surge with a long jumper and three-pointer and Spars was up 21-17 after 10 minutes. Tomer Porat picked up five quick points in the second quarter to give Maccabi its first lead 23-24. Tiganj and Amit Ebo swapped three-pointers and the lead switched hands seven times with Vojin Ilic and Biberovic knocking down triples in an 11-0 run to pull ahead 41-31. Porat stepped up with six points to get Maccabi to within 46-42 at half-time. Kocic started hot in the second half with three baskets and Ilic knocked down a triple as Spars was up 58-52. And the gap was 63-56 after another Kocic score. Maccabi reeled off the next seven points to knot the game at 63-63 before Semir Karic hit a three-ball for a 66-63 Spars lead after three quarters. Ebo twice tied the game with three-pointers early in the fourth quarter and Amit Suss put Maccabi up 69-71. After Kocic knotted the game, Biberovic nailed three three-pointers as the lead grew to 82-75 with less than 2 minutes to play. Biberovic added two free throws with 49 seconds to extend the gap to 84-75. And a Karic jumper with 16 seconds made it 86-75 - making it enough of a lead to secure a date in the third place game.
