Real Madrid
"We started out uneasy and too relaxed on defense. On offense, we were also very nervous, but luckily and despite all we were able to get to halftime even. In the second half, we got back in the game and played with more intensity at both ends of the floor. I am happy with this victory because we were able to win a very important game in the Top 16 and to begin by winning at home always puts you at ease."
Efes Pilsen
"The first part we played well and managed to stop Madrid with our defense. That's maybe the first time our defense has done that this season. Also on offense, we controlled things well, with good shot selection. But in the second half, we made mistakes. We let Madrid get back in the rhythm of the game. Then it remained close until the end, because we missed some important shots. The play of Marko Jaric was fundamental to Madrid winning."

Real Madrid
"It was a very difficult game that we had to suffer through and wait for our moment in the last quarter. At this point in the season, there are no small teamw, and Efes is a very good one. It might be one of the key teams in this group. It's true that we didn't play our best game, but that's not so easy in the Top 16, when you have to pay attention to every last detail."
Real Madrid
"It was a difficult game against a dangerous opponent that has a lot of quality. We had to be extremely attentative against them. We didn't play our best game, but we were able to not lose our rhythm in the second half. You could tell that our team is a hard-working one, because that is evident against such tough rivals. You could also tell that the Top 16 is here, because now every victory against these teams is important in order to keep advancing with calm."
Efes Pilsen
"We played a good game except for the finish, when we were not able to play our game. Madrid was more intense in the end and got the victory. They are a very tough team and we will have to be intense for all 40 minutes in order to challenge in the upcoming games. Personally, it was a good game for me, but I am left with a bad taste in my mouth for how we relaxed a little at the end."
Efes Pilsen
"It was a very good game. With the exception of the last five minutes, we played really well. It's clear that at this stage of the season, every team is a challenge. Real Madrid has many great players and every time we relaxed it could have been crucial in the game. From now on, we have to play without concerning ourselves with whom we're playing against, try to win and play tough against all opponents."
