Head Coaches

NAVARRO, IBON
Laboral Kutxa Vitoria
"We didn't know how to execute the right plays in the last quarter, they were more intense and tougher in clutch time. We should have been smarter and take advantage of the foul bonus, draw fouls, read the game better and finish it. I got the feeling that we had it already, but we let it go. We must know ourselves better and must be able to identify and choose the right player at the right moment, choose the ones that are able to read the game better, the ones that feel better in a specific moment, and to build our team chemistry."
IVKOVIC, DUSAN
Anadolu Efes Istanbul
"It was a very tough game, which I think Laboral Kutxa had under control for the first three quarters. We didn't start the game at the level we expected and allowed them to play their game, with three-pointers and transition plays. We played a very good defense in the second half. They scored just 28 points, and 9 in the fourth quarter. I think was the key to the game. We have to keep on fighting, to play and win games until the end because this is a very tough competition, we just opened The Top 16 today."

Players

BEGIC, MIRZA
Laboral Kutxa Vitoria
"We had a very good opportunity to win the game against one of the best teams of the competition, but I think we missed some extra energy and more concentration in the end to seal it. One of the reasons, for sure, is that we had like four or five new players in the last month, including me, and at this moment it is sometimes difficult to execute our plays like we should."
SARIC, DARIO
Anadolu Efes Istanbul
"We didn't play our best game here in Vitoria but we fought all game long and tried to play tough. We got some open shots in the final 5 minutes and got a very good result."
BJELICA, MILKO
Anadolu Efes Istanbul
"It is very important to start with a win here, because this court will be very hard to for other teams in the Top 16. It is also important to get a first win early, right after the holiday break, we need to stay focused. I think that in the end we showed more experience on defense and won. We had a bad start in the beginning but came back, stayed on our legs, started to play as we know and deserved the win. Our goal is to reach the playoffs and I hope we will achieve it."
